It's 12'x10'. I've got the gfci covered, and will be 10' away from the tub 5' from the sink. Yeah Liz, I was just gonna put some guppies in it for now.

sounds good! :D

Personally have one in my "Big Bathroom" and I've not had a problem with Temperature swings and such... mind you it's a 50 gallon so it's not really the same, We actually had a vanity that we didn't use so when I noticed that the space was perfect for the tank ... In it went :D

If your wife doesn't do her hair and perfume to close to the tank, you'll be fine!

I have kept many tanks in bathrooms, running from 1.5-20G. Up keep can be a pain due to mildew but as long as you don't spray hair spray over it and keep fairly hardy fish, especially in the smaller tanks, it should not be a problem.

One concern that is often overlooked is electricity and water don't mix. I don't Know how close this tank will be to the tub, but...

While most aquariums are run without GFCI, they generally don't have a path to ground so chance of electric shock is minimal. A bathtub however is grounded and always the poteintial for electric shock is always present. Be sure that any aquarium accessories are plugged into a GFCI protected outlet, and test that outlet regularly.

GFCI = Ground Fault Circut Interuptor
Thats what i think.
