At first I was going to use a bit light color spray paint, but there wasn't enough , so I used this paint, a coat less it would have been brighter. The bulb actually has a pink glow also, so not bright.
wow_it_esploded, instead of tissue paper i'm one step ahead, Rosco Cinegal sampler pack. They are colored Acrylic sheets(well also some are made from other things, look at link, they dont show all the colors there either, i have greens, reds, blues, oranges, yellows, etc) about as thick as paper! and they can handle the heat under lights, as they are meant for light and color correction in the studio, check them out http://www.rosco.com/canada/filters/cinegel.asp
I have 50 of these, all different colors,10x12 inches each. There really cool!
I only painted the light to try something new.
