xingu's are from a waterway called xingu in brazil, price is 150 for a 5'' specimen, had one but i sold it 2 years ago

it depends on your p's.. some p's loves or doesnt mind the powerheads..
ive had p's that gets stressed with powerheads and get more skittish and doesnt eat. if your piranha is skittish, you could try it.
one more thing, there are some rhoms that are just too skittish..
ive had mine for 2 years now and is still a little bit skittish..sometimes he would get aggressive. ive had other p's that are just too freakin aggressive
and would bite anything that moves..even your hand!
so its really a "trial and error" thing.

i agree with that from what I have experienced. Right now I have a 5" gdr in a split 75g, i put the powerhead on the other side so its not right in his face, but he does get the most benefit from it. and seems to like it. not stressed, makes him swim a little but not too much
i have a 6 inch peru rhom he had a koralia 4 powerhead in his 60 gallon and was swimming out in the open playing with the current all the time i took it out for my other rhom and now i only see him at night my pygos never use it so for a serra definetley its such a good investment..
