Please have a look on those 2 guys picked from my local shop and help me guess the ID.
One is probably venustus but the other one seems harder to guess.

I'd agree,. Most likely a livingstonni or a cross. They can sometimes be a lil difficult to ID, as at a young age livingstonni and venustus look very similar untill the start to come into their specie's color. I'd say the one at the LFS still, is a male venustus as it's starting to come into it's mature male coloration.It might be a Nimbochromis livingstonii or a cross.
