Options For 20Gallon Long

for a 20gal long i would do a pair of convicts
 
yes sir ... ive done it before its a good way to raise food
 
I just read up on them. I really like the colors and sound like a interesting fish to keep as a pair. And they breed extremely easily also, which I am assuming what was your food for your other fish haha. Might be cool to watch these fish pair off and breed. If you have pictures of yours I would love to see them.

i never took pics of them ...but they breed really easy
 
a convict cichlid is a good option... a single blood parrot with nothing else could work...

Look into neolamprologus multifasciatus. They stay small and have fascinating behavior one of my favorite shellies.
