That's right, after having my bowfin for only a month, i have to get rid of him. the apartment can't handle a bigger tank then a 75, which he is needing more, i bought him in thought's we where getting the house we had a offer on, which didn't happen, and then my 90gal leaked. so he is stuck in a 90gal. in the end, i cant bring another 90gal up to the apartment i already got in trouble for the first 1. so i am looking for trades, or just to buy him out right.

he is in amazing shape. caught wild 2-3 years ago. only eats Live. very active for being a bowfin, i always see him swimming around. everytime i walk into the room he is up.
asking for 70 bucks, or trade for smaller fish or babies. that will take about a year to get to a decent size. in that time i will have a house and a much bigger tank once again.

I am open to trades, whatever catchs my eye, I do miss my old wolf, the leaking 90 is being fix, just not right now lol. Due to the aprtment epeople saying its to much weight even though its on a outside wall that's load bearing. But whatever lol.

I feed him, koi,giant goldfish, mollies, bluegill.

Recently he enjoyed my aro. He seemed quite happy with that one . Litle bastard. He tears down the food for sure. As stated he is active for a bowfin almost always see him swimmigng around and trying to turn lol. Be he has come along way he seems to like his small tank but I can't keep him I feel bad.
 
I'll see what I can do then for maybe a trade plus some cash. He'd be great in my pond, so he would have plenty of space to swim and devour the various small fish that I have in there as feeders for the other natives. I'll check with my dad to see if it's thawed at all before I commit to getting this bowfin.
 
Kool let me know, if your gonna pick it up let me know, I will drop the tank temp. And get it nice and cold so it will be easy for yea to swap ito the pond. He was wild caught 2 -3 years ago so he will do fine out there in the pond
