thanks everyone! js302 i dont really use anything special but a ehiem pro 3 and an aquaclear. Other than that it is just regular tap water.

This one is actually from Jeff Rapps. At first i had black sand in my 30 gal tank when he was growing from 2-3 inches and i couldnt tell if he was good looking like the other male i have. then when i switch to white/tan sand he turned out to be a beauty. nnow he is the best looking fish i have in my tank. One of the female is similar but doesnt have that shine that he does.
 
extremely nice male mate quality bloodline thats for sure, never seen an orangehead with so much pearling!

Just a few questions what are your current water parameters? what are you feeding and what lighting do you have?

well my water parameters is bad rite now as i am about to do a water change tomorrow when i am off from work. I feed them strictly on NLS but occasionally i feed them mysis shrimps. My lighting is just regular 40W fluorescent light bulbs.
