theres a fish store an hour away from here and they get blacks in occasionally, but there silvers are $99, so there blacks would cost a lot. i wouldn't want to risk a ton of money when i haven't had any experience with aros ever.

the jar will be only a few inches when bought and the ornate bichir will be almost twice the size.

i now found out the ornate will be 4" while the jardini will be 3". from what i see in the ornates i see for sale is that they co-exist with every single fish in their 150 gallon show tank.

i think you should go with a silver rather then a jardini, then you can have all three. My fish are all pretty young, but my silver never causes any problems. I know jardini's are known for being aggressive.

my future tank wouldn't last a silvers whole life so i don't want to be stuck with something i can't keep.
