Bristlenose plecos look disgusting IMO... Try looking for gold nugget, green phantom, and zebra type plecos, they are my favorites and look nice!

go with bristle nose plecos they will even breed for your in a tank that big. Even you don/t want any babies only keep one or two males or two or more females.

Actually I REALLY want a zebra pleco or a vampire pleco. I'd like the pleco to stay under a foot. I thought gold nuggett plecos stayed under a foot? I liike the tiger plecos too, of course I like all the spendy plecos. I have a lot of driftwood for them, just gotta weigh it down so it stops floating.

Truthfully my tank is going to be a monster plant tank. The main thing is going to be the plants, then fish second. I might go with a few more loaches. I like clown loaches but can't committ to upgrading for a year or two.

Supposedly the gold nuggets grow to about a foot, although the biggest ive seen is around 6-7"

The clown loaches will get to MAYBE 6" in 2 years, they are very slow growers and will get to around 4-5 inches their first year then slow down.
