What about a platinum poly, what are the chances it will be a WC specimen?

Basically none. I think it's a recessive trait and then of course the gauntlet in the wild

+1 but still possible. I believe Vince's platinum wyckii is wild caught. It's pretty big too, they adapted to be all black so I wonder how an all white one survived if true lol must be an exceptionally tough fish.

Yeah platinums in the wild have almost 0% chance of surviving. The all white trait basically takes away all aspects of camoflouge. Some fish can still survive but the chances are pretty slim
