4 esondidos from jeff rapps to get a pair out of them, and a gold nugget pleco. so in my sixty their will be two escondidos and two plecos my questions is what else could be kept in there, doesnt matter all that much just dont want it to be a bottom dweller.

I'm not familiar with the fish you are ordering. I hope that's not a major faux pas. I didn't find it with a quick search, either. Can you tell us a little bit more about it, or provide a link to some info?

He means "escondido"..... Carpintis Escondido.

Oh, that's a very nice looking fish. Sorry that I still don't know enough about them to comment. Are they agressive?

I'm a rainbowfish person at heart (shhhh.. don't tell anyone or I might get banned), so if they are not ravenous killers, I think they would look stunning with a school of bows. Pehaps some M. herbertaxelrodi ("yellow rainbowfish"), which is one of the more commonly available species: http://members.optushome.com.au/chelmon/Haxel.htm

If your new fish are an agressive species, then :footinmou for me.

Yes, and I'd LOVE to have some of all of them. Y'all can keep your 1,000 gallon tanks, give me 20 55-gallons to fill up with bows.

Here's one of my M. lacustris male juveniles:

see thats the thing the escondidos from what ive heard are anywhere from like a regular texas cichlid to a smaller salvini size as for aggression i think they are not as bad as a red texas.

or any texas for that matter lol

those look really good how big are they full grown, and are they fast?
