Hey All! I was thinking about ordering an L-25 scarlet pleco online. Can anyone share thier experiances with ordering fish online? They talk about a heat pac? How long can a fish last in shipment. I know this is done every day. Can anyone share their experiances with ordeing fish online? Thanks in advance.

you dont need a heat pac but if you whant to pay more thats fin too it is a L-25

All my experiences online have been good. At this time of year make sure they put heat packs in there as with the temps getting lower at night. Plus you are in Michigan which it even gets colder.
Where have you found Scarlets (L25). I have been looking for quite a while with no success anywhere?

Actually they e-mailed me back and said "Out of Stock". I should have know too good to be true. I did win a bid on aquabid for an L-24 cactus which is close to a scarlet. Still waitng for the guy to email me with total price. Cactus are as hard to find as scarlets. Thanks for the replies.
I seen the L 24 on aquabid. Was gonna bid on the one and buy them both, but
I wasn't convinced by the pics. Tried to email the guy and ask a couple of questions
and for a better pic, he never replied. So I didn't bid.
What did you end up paying and did you get both available?

oops! It is now wednesday at 5:00 p.m. I won the bid Sunday at 1 in the afternoon. I still have not received total price with shipping. I talked to guy on Monday morning sounded like he just woke up and told me to send him an address where I want it shipped and he will e-mail me with total price. He wanted to know if I wanted them both I told I wanted to see what the first one will look like first. I have e-mailed him with a few questions after this and he never replied back. Doesn't answer his phone either. Don't know if I'am getting stuck or what? The pic of the pleco sucks. I did win the bid at $41 which is almost a too good to be true price for a 6 inch L-24. What would you guys do at this piont?
I don't know what Aquabid policy is for this kind of thing. This is the reason I didn't bid on it. Just had a bad feeling plus he had some bad reviews. And the poor quality and angle of pic.
Did you pay with a credit card? Contact Aquabid or read their policy. I personally would call the credit card company and dispute it if it were me. It will cost you a negative remark at Aquabid. I buy all my stuff through reputable vendors or peeps
with solid Reps.

No I haven't paid him anything yet. I was going to send him a money order when he sends me the total price with the shipping. Yeah ShadowStryder I read the negatives on him also but really wanted it because it supposidly is an L-24. I guess I'll wait a few more days and see what happens.
