Awesome! I'd love to see how the aquarium looks these days, I haven't visited it since I was around 10 years old when they had Keiko. Wish I had a car so I could drive myself there every so often :(

Looking forward to the pics!

sweeeeet.

Do they have a lot of freshwater exhibits? I know they have the swampland thing right now... eager to see the pictures!

I can't remember, its been a while since I have been there. I went to the Portland Zoo and got some great pictures of the Pacus and Geophagus they had but for some reason my old camera messed up and deleted the pictures.

I also went when they had keiko and have gone a few times since (including seeing the oddwater exhibits) and i've always been disappointed. The premiere aquarium in the NW is definetly Point Defiance up in Tacoma

Nw aquariums sorta blow, but we got married at the point defiance aquarium in front of the shark tank so it will always be a cool place to me.

They really do, I miss Mote Marine in Sarasota FL. That place and the Florida Aquarium in Tampa were my favorites. I hate how they are Saltwater fish focused. I want to see an aquarium devoted to freshwater fish.

I know, this place is nothing special but I would rather go there than stare at the beach for a couple hours. Sucks how its $40 to go see a couple exhibits.

what bothers me the most about the newport aquarium is the price for admission, i consider it outragues for what they have
