It is an awesome fish.I had one that I grew out from three inches and it became a beast at around twelve or thirteen inches.It even chased around my Emperor cichlid.
I raised it on flakes and pellets,strictly the latter when it grew bigger.It would chase the other fish away from the floating pellets untill it had it's fill of them.
I didn't.I had him for quite a few years and he grew nice and big and then one day he just up and died.
