Orino breeding age?

Mine bred for the first time at 2 years of age, but killed 3 females during the year previous, so....who knows :D

Thats funny how the fastest growing cichla takes the longest to mature..
 
Sometimes i read it is size related and sometimes i read it is age related (fishbase > monoculus> females).

Trust me, as long as the water conditions are good, temperature stable, food source adequate all species do so within 10-12 months including Temensis. :) I am talking about wild conditions, or at least mud pond.
