I'm not sure how fast other species grow but my Orino's have grown fairly quick. I got mine just over a month ago at 2 inches and mine are both over 4 inches now. All I feed them is Hikari pellets. Once they got eating really well I put them in my big tank so that may have something to do with their growth.

good to know this. I have two 6cm or 2plus inches orinos. I feed them live until they burst. reading that live foods makes fish grow faster im hoping I can top your 4inches in a month. Im also very particular with my water param so I waterchange as often as needed. Im crossing my fingers now for the rapid growth

lol i actually got my pbass to eat rosy reds yesturday. since they'll only eat live food, whats a good safe alternative live feeder?

oh ok and lmao channa im not a baller :D
You're not a baller but I heard your dad is a baller!!!:D Get some Orinos Hao. They're great looking Orinos. Rich was selling them for $15 each when they first came in. You won't find it any cheaper than that. They grow fast up until 10-12" mark then their growth rate slow down.

i wish i could of got mine from rich because he has the pellet trained already. mine are from RW and they are only eating rosy reds
