Orino Question

Man I've been out of the cichla game too long, what the heck is sp. galaxy?

ok thanks just curious ive never had an orino like that before.

Who knows what that little guy will bring ya as far as color this is the fun of it growing these guys out!!!!

I know i got it for the mystery and every week he surprises me. it would be awesome if it ended up being a fogo lol

What I have found out with dealing with importers dont always know what they are looking at so they will give it a different name. Not saying they are not smart because it is hard to find out what everything is. I used to work in a fish store for a number of years and I cant tell you how many times I have ordered temensis and they just came in as monos. Or ordered a fish with some crazy cool name and it was just a mono again. I am using "mono" as an example because the majority of people on the cichla area know what a mono is of course. As far as stingrays, I have seen many motoros sold as marbled motoros as well as jaguars.

I know what you mean but I actually trust my vendor because he's the only one that imports the exotics and he's cheaper than all my other lfs in general

its not the first time ive seen the name but id swear to ya that fish is an orino and whos to say his vendor didnt go with a new source its a huge market to be in you can call a guppy 20 different names its still a guppy youll notice alot in the pet stores especially with the african cichlids each store has its own name for the same fish. cichla are big business now days brings in the scammers and the cons trying to make a quick buck either way i hope it turns out bad ***
