how do i get my ph lower because it is currently at 7.6, i have driftwood.



p.s how do i make my water clear instead of yellow(from driftwood)

Add a few more pieces of driftwood to lower the ph abit more, and to make yur water clear instead of yellow...just do more water changes and that will soon be gone and be all clear

Seachem makes buffer in powder form, but I'm skeptical. I've always been a fan of doing it the natural way.

As for removing the tanins, try adding a Purigen or two in your filter, along with regular water changes. Should clear up in a few weeks.

ketapang leaves and running peat in your filter are other ways of lowering the pH. Don't use chemicals.
