My two orinos size 5" and 6" originally from Rapps are behaving strangely tonight.... they are chasing the rest of fish to one side of the tank. The bigger one does not allow others to get close to the corner of the tank....

Be patient and finish the video..... please tell me what's going on with these little guys??

You have to becareful w/Orino's. They can get really territorial and kill many other PBASS in the same tank. Not to scare you but with Orino's it can happen. Just keep an eye on the agression.

mean lil green boogers!!! hopefully everyone is okay!!! keep an eye out!!!

man... I sold my flowerhorns just couple weeks ago due to the same problem... same corner..... Now Orinos... they are the smallest ones in my tank. I have 11 cichla in there and now 2 vs. 9..... and 2 are winning... what the ???

my MONO got a small split fin already....:cry:

It's really strange. Remember those FH couple weeks ago??? spawning like crazy... I don't know why they all choose that same corner.

Something must be in my water ....... maybe that "secret sweet orange formula" Joey gave it to me... :ROFL:

looks like territorial issues, orinos are regarded as the most agressive.. Just keep an eye over them James and hopefully it doesn't get to bad..

territorial issues you guys say...but TWO orinos sharing the same spot against all others???
i wouldve thought it'd be one...not two.
and dont think theyre spawning either...

I was wondering that, too.... don't you think that's NOT considered as "NORM". I have never seen two cichla share territory while they are not in spawning mode........?? :naughty::naughty:
