True, but c'mon, who calls them orinocs? Nobody I know

Orino is an abbreviation that people made up. How is Orinoc any stranger than Orino? I'm going to start calling them Ori.

I got them at a store called "Just Pets" the only place I know where they sell Peacock bass, arowanas and Lobsters. They sell all kinds of stuff and no it wouldn't burst my bubble if they did turn out not to be Orinos. Would be better if they turned out to be mono or tem!!

Still can't find my cam! I'm feeling under the weather so I'm sending my wife on a hunt for it.

You can call them whatever you want, but the fact remains that the vast majority of people call them orinos. Just trying to help a hobbyist out by showing him what most people go by ;)

OP, can you post some pictures of you "Orinnys"?

Been there on Thursday and they had a baby arapaima for sale for around $285. I wanted to ask them what tank size they recommend for the arapaima but they were busy so I left. My buddy bought a pbass from there yesterday but he did not ask what kind they were.

Hey I was there too! I was buying some feeder guppies.
Yeah I saw that. They had about 4 of them arapaima but on that day I only saw 1 left. My last visit they had about 8 new pbass that were about 2 1/2 inches and a tiny 1 inch but on that day only the tiny one was left. Wanted to buy a bigger one than my other two at home.
