Ornate ate my endli!!!

I've only experienced with larger sized ornates. Had 3 in the same tank sizes ranging from 15-18 inches. Just my opinion here, but they had a potential to be troublesome. 15" killed my 8" ansorgii by mouth hold on the head. Seen the other one do this to my 9" Teugelsi, but let go. The reason I rehomed all 3. Cuz they were culprits to occasional biting on tail (split fin) and pectoral fins with my poly community. Seen it happen many times. Tattered and torn fins went away immediately afterwards. Definitely, one of the cooler looking poly available for sure. Figured that if I ever get the itch to own another ornate. I'll find another. They're as common as senegals in my area.

My ornate never been aggressive toward others, never really bit any of my polys, never been teritorial too, but i guess he/she found my my endli which its not active swimmer and had the opportunity too eat it.

Another thing about mine is hes always been a loner. Hardly ever hangs with other polys and goes out of its way to avoid them
