That was pretty cool. I've seen my senegals nip at each other but never latch and hold like that.

I think my senegals even laid eggs once. They did the mating dance and what looked like dropping of eggs over the moss but the Ctenopoma Acutirostres would just float behind them and eat the eggs.

My ornate seems to be female and the two regular senegalus(spelling) seem to be one male, one female.

I don't really have room for another tank. My house is pretty small and my wife already gives me looks because I have tanks in every room including the kitchen.
