thanks for the info on the fake palmas. I have had a sengel bichir once before and want some different kind, such as the ornate, palmas, or delherzi. I liked it but want to get a bigger species such as the ones I listed. I was thinking if I put a cichild with it, I might use a jack dempsey or something like that. I know not to get anything like a jag. with it. I have had a few of them. Just my opinion but I think the jags are like an oscar that someone peed in its cheerios, on steriods, and its dog just died.

i have got a 10" ornate birchir and a 8" senagalus polypretus also in the tank is a 8" oscar a 6"siamese tiger and a 10" clown knife. These have all been in the tank from the start and i have had no problems!!!!
