ornate bichir with a wierd stride

quarrentine that fish or take it back!!!
my two sens (and the rest of my tank) died from "slime disease" in a period of 24 hours yesterday.
id look really close at theat fish to see if there are any cuts, or if there is any exess slime.
treat it now with a suitable medication or get shut of the ornate. does it have its back arched, and does it use its tail fin for swimming/look all rigid?
i was too late, you may still have a chance. as soon as it hits the gills its all over.
