Ornate - External Gil Problem

Yeah there should never be more than a couple inches difference between them.

I believe the baby got nipped because the externals looked like blood worms to the larger poly.

I have my 2" albino's in the same tank as an 8" sen, and they're doing great, no nipped anything, no harassing etc... but they dont' have externals.

Even the aggro 4" buetti leaves them alone.

I've had a lot of success mixing big differences in sizes, except with the congicus that ate some albinos, but that was circumstantial, I was trying to ween it off of shrimp and onto pellets and it got hungry

It was probably that. I wait until my bloodworms are completely thawed out so then they pretty much rain down on the fish when I toss them in.
