ornate HELP !

hey, does anyone know a lot about ornate bichirs? i have a 4-5" female, that just killed my new oscar? the oscar was about 1.5-2 inch and she ate all of its fins but not the body? she lives with a 8" arowana, but i was just wondering if it was because the oscar was too small? or will she always do that no matter what i add? how aggressive are they? i wasnt expecting it from her since from what ive read they only usually eat fish small enough to fit in their mouth but the oscar was way bigger then her mouth and she didnt even eat it she just ate the fins? has anyone succesfully kept a bgk with one?

EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE in my opinion/experience! i have a 14" ornate that lives to bully my 11" palmas yet he leaves alone my 5" del and sen. he doesn't bother my clown knife or plec either but it seems anything it sees as a threat it will aim to hurt/kill.
 
really? she doest mind the arowana at all?... she swims up to eat with it and everything.. i know the arow didnt kill my oscar cause the arowana was swimming with the oscar at the top for a week and if the arow wanted to eat the oscar he could have with one bite.. so yours doesnt mind knife fish? im so pissed she killed the oscar... i have to find another one now, maybe a little bigger..
 
no need to worry,ornates usually like to eat fish thats smaller than it(usually must taste good to them) and iv kept my ornate for 3 years with aro,bichir,gar and it currently with alot of other fish,at 1st my ornate did chase few my smaller bichirs but it stopped,now its living peacefully,imo ornates arent aggressive,just territorial and feast on what smells good to them and fits in there mouth

yeh bigger fish,as long as its not possible for the ornate to munch on
 
alright, what do you keep with you bichirs and arowana? im stuck on what to put with my silver and ornate?
 
i put other aros(mines dont fight),other bichirs,gar,knife,lungfish,datnoid,flagtail,tig,eel,ATF,payara,etc
