i just got my ornate a week ago for $25 and an albino for the same price both of them are about 5 to 6 inches (albino one seems to be more active) i remeber couple months back i got my albino the same size for 8 bucks!!

i got them from lfs in san jose, california . i like going from fish store to fish store comparing prices. i was into bichir for a very long time and always wanted one but cant find one until one day i was in total shocked to find an albino bichir for 8 dollars. but recently the cheapest i can get is $25. (other stores sell for 35 nad up)

Have you seen any other type of bichir except for ornate, senegalus, and delhezi at those stores? I been searching for other types but can't find any in the SF area. If you're willing to drive, there's a place called Aquatraders in San Bruno. It's across from the SFO airport and they have those 3 bichirs there for cheap at around $13-$20 depending on the size.
