The anal fin of the male is more muscular and approx.twice as wide as the females anal fin-Anne

At first I thought it was female, but the second set of pics looks more male.

The best way to tell is by observing the 'flex' behavior of male polypterus. I've only seen it a couple times in my young polys, but I believe there is a youtube video of an endli.
