what do you feed her and what is her habitat/environment like? i'm having shell issues with mine; i'll post pics later tonight. yours is gorgeous!
We feed her everything from greens to fruit and even reptimin soft gel. You can buy some crap to rub on the shell to improve it and shine it up! I forget what its called.
those are all around my house, Not really a turtle though its a tortoise. Also it will out live you if properly taken care of.

Tortoises are classified by more characteristics than just their environment.
And since this is a Central American wood turtle, I don't believe you'll find them around your house in TN. You're probably thinking of US box turtles, which I do admit, can look similar to a layperson.
