Yup Hikari massivore... They come as tablet size.. Just break ehm and give... Mix and vary their diet... Also the Hikari lion head gold pellets sinking have been giving me good result... And Hikari excel I use for the vegy stuff for them... And ofcorse with shrimps and tilapia and worms as treat... :)

My little one likes the spectrum sinking pellets pretty well. At 80° he has added an inch in the last couple months.

use tilapia and smelt! the ornate will grow like weeds!! tilapia = makes them fat, smelt = accelerates growth
 
My big ornate is starting to get fat rolls. Lol... she eats like a pig!
