What was their previous diet before you got them?

Not totally sure, the guy I got them from said that they love bloodworms, but they didn't go after them. He mentioned goldfish from petsmart as well so now I'm thinking I shud treat for parasites, what shud I use?

If you plan on using a parasite treatment, I had really good results with Hikari Prazipro. Also try bumping up the temperature. That helps sometimes.

Try earthworms, goldfish have the wrong fat type and protein/fat ratio that can lead to liver deposits. They're big enough that nightcrawlers might be a good choice.

I put in a nightcrawler last night after lights out, and I think they ate it

And thx for the recomendation on prazipro

in my experience of keeping my 2 year and a half old ornate was weird since iv only seen her eat 3 times in 2 years and a half, but shes now 14"-15" very fat when i got her at 4"

come to think of it.. i dont think ive ever seen my ornate eat and ive had him for somewhere around a year.. hes somewhere around 9"s now... in fact i dont think i ever saw him not in the front left corner of the tank untill about 2 months ago when he switched to the right side of the tank and started being all buddybuddy with the dels..
