ornates settling in slowly

come to think of it.. i dont think ive ever seen my ornate eat and ive had him for somewhere around a year.. hes somewhere around 9"s now... in fact i dont think i ever saw him not in the front left corner of the tank untill about 2 months ago when he switched to the right side of the tank and started being all buddybuddy with the dels..

It's like that with my two ornates too. both mine are always on their seperate ends of the tank. Not hiding, just sitting there.
I don't think I have seen the big one eat in about 6 months and the smaller one I seen eat a couple weeks ago but besides that it's been about 6 months.
When they were young they would constantly eat though.
