Ornatum

I'm wondering if it would be worth getting another female, or multiple females, for my Ornatus. They're beautiful fish and it would be super sweet to have a bonded pair...like with my Festae. I guess we still don't have much info on them.

I am sorry I really don't know any tricks but I would give George ( Gmfishnut ) a Pm and ask him to post some advise on here for everyone to see , as far as I know he is the only one thats been able to get them to breed so far...

Color and personality both. They're great fish.

I was thinking about dedicating the 265g to them. The Festae are in their own tank together. If I bought a group of Ornatus, I'm guessing they would all kill each other but not sure....maybe I could get lucky like with my Festae. This is just an idea atm.

I would think it's worth giving it a shot, he has to find one he likes eventually. Fry from a pair of Ornatum would be awsome.
