Awhile back I got 2 Rainbow Sharks (bad idea). Within a few days one commit suicide by jumping out of the tank. I kept the other with my Bichirs until one day his aggression switch flipped. Now my Bichirs only have one barbel each. I isolated the rainbow shark as all of my fish were either too passive to put up with him or big enough to eat him.
Now my gf keeps him in a 29g tank with a blue mystery snail (which he also bullies). She would really like something to go with him but I'm stumped as to what can get along with him and be fine in that size tank. Any suggestions? She really likes dwarf puffers and I know they're pretty aggressive but are they big enough? Pretty much anything is fine by me as long as it wont outgrow the tank.
