i dont know , i bought him from a fish shop when he was like 3 weeks old

i might get one then..but i also kinda want a community in a way..how messy is your oscar..cause people call them messy fish but they don't describe it..

Really messy they inhale food crush it up and spit nearly half back out into tiny pieces/slick and **** alot. Wicked fish to watch lots of filtration crystal water achieved

I got my Tiger in a 180gal goldfish, a shark, knifefish & plecos and I agree with the dog part, my Oscar follows me to each side of the tank, and I also hand feed him well....my Tiger's 13" & I got him 2yrs ago at 2", raised him till he out grew the 55gallon
