i kept 2 oscars from 2" upto 9" (about 1.5years) untill last weekend in a 3foot / 15" / 18" tank

You will have trouble finding new homes for an oscar that is large.

Also, many find it irresponsible to keep a fish until it outgrows your tank, and then getting rid of it.

I wouldn't recommend one unless you have a 75 or larger
