Oscar a wimp

most of the O's i've had were mildly semi-agro...rarely attacking a tankmate beyond the common bluff. they almost always back down from a confrontation when their bluff fails to works. however i do have a super aggro 8" O that killed a 6" salvini which used to bully it when it was smaller. as for they toughness, i'd say they do get damaged easily, but heal very fast. i like them because out of all the big cics, an O is your best bet to have tankmates of similiar size and they are easy to train.

Yep, I agee...they are really cool with tankmates....if they can't eat em, they leave them alone mostly. If they are small and the Oscars are too slow to catch them they will live together too....like Giant Danios etc.

My Oscars are 10" and i have 8x Silver dollars which are between 3/4" 1x Jade eye 5" and 1x Convict 2" and my Oscars love having them around there's no agression with my Oscars on the other fish what so ever the only agression i get is the occasional wrestling match between the two oscars.

i have a different story, my two 4inch oscars tag teamed my arowana and knife fish, almost to death, one hit it then the other. so i think oscars are fairly tough, although most of em are wimps.
