Oscar and Jaguar's breeding?

yeah it is impossible for oscars to hybridize as far as i know. the jag can hybridize with other fish tho as your fellow mfk members are informing you.

I was just trying to say the more distantly related the lower chance of success. And beyond Genus success drops significantly.
 
Like to state this for the record because I read everywhere it can not happen. Oscar cant be crossed with a jaguar. These is 100% wrong they can be I found that out today. I knew my female Jag was holding eggs about a week or 2 ago because of her size. She has been hiding out in her cave for the last week, week and a half. Only coming out for food. Today when I got home I had fries swimming around. This is a 65gal tank with only a Jaguar, Oscar and Pleco its been this way for about 4 months. My Jaguar is 6" my oscar is 5" and Pleco is 7". So these are a cross between an Oscar and Jaguar. Only other answer is its a cross between a Pleco and Jaguar.

Agreed,
if he's "read everywhere that it can not happen" as he claimed, he would've made an extensive pictorial record in the IMPOSSIBLE chance that he's not lying, and offered proof to go with his claim. Too bad Jagcar, you ain't the first to make such wild claims & won't be the last. Funny that all you guys NEVER seem to have any proof.

Once the fries hit 1 1/2" - 2" so I can take a pic and show everyone these little guys. I will post pic and price of them before shipping. I know the odds of this happening and I also read all about it. It has happened and I am going to make a nice coin off this. I am going to call this Jagcar also a Canadian Cichlid. I am also going to try breeding these to bad this maybe the only time this happens. I will need to breed bother and sister together :(. I will also try breeing them with Oscars and Jaguars to see if they can breed that way. I will try everything to make this new breed happen.
