If you guys got any questions about CA/SA cichlid hybridization, Read chrisplosions thread on that... It is VERY helpful...

But to sum it up,
until proven otherwise, all central americsn cichlids CAN hybridize with other central american cichlids.
They can NOT hybridize with south american cichlids.

SOUTH AMERICANS-

Until proven otherwise, NO south american cichlid can hybridize with another south american OR central american cichlid.

(An exception to this rule is the festae which is essentially a central american cichlid living in south american.)

I did a google search and found some info on a fish called a green terra. It's a cross between a jd and a gt. I don't have any proof other than a few web pages and a few YouTube videos I saw. Looks really nice though.
