Oscar and Turtle...best friends?!

i have 2 turtles and a huge jack dempsey that are like family together. its pretty cool.

what kind of turtle is that? regular red ear slider?

Good luck keeping the two together for life. I keep fish with mud an musk turtles without any problems but that's not always the case. Some turtle species do better with fish than others. Just don't be surprised when you come home one day and the honeymoon is over.

i sjut gave a buddy my oscar for his turtle tank. let see what happens!

the only issue with this is that at some point you will need a monstrously large tank to accomodate a full grown red eared slider and the oscar while also providing land and space for lighting for the turtle.

bad news i just got a call from my gf and the turtle took a chunk out of the oscars tail so im going to go pick him up this weekend and bring him with me to put in a separate tank
