Oscar behavior?

I think you guys are right...I think it's just for entertainment. I'm one of those people who likes to see it to believe it; but this forum was also right about these fish having the most personality too. When I went to move the gravel back in place to hide the UGF plate and airstone, after he figured out what I was doing, the little S.O.B. actually bit me!! Obviously it didn't hurt, but apparently he wants things HIS way. I showed my wife I can put my hand in the tank, and they're not at all skiddish or scared. However, if I move some rocks around, he comes right up at me open mouth and all! When people wrote about these guys having "personality", I thought to myself, c'mon guys....it's not a dog. You're definetly right, they have personality. (That's my second time I didn't believe this forum, and was proven wrong) Read the first from this link...

Thanks for the lesson learned...

They are breeding. The biting of the hand is a good sign even though mine did this when he was alone.
My pair laid their eggs on the glass after moving the rocks around.
The female should have the shorter body and the male will have the longer body.
Remove the under gravel filter and you should soon see eggs.
Good luck.

I can't believe they've aclimated that fast. They've only been in that tank a short while. They were a pair in another tank with a previous owner, so I guess they've already gone through "courtship"! :naughty:

The female shopuld shy away from you when you put your hand in the tank and the male will keep a very close eye on you and in some cases(not some but all) he'll attack.
Enjoy them cause I wish I never got rid of my pair but they were beating up everything in the tank and I had no other place to put them.
