I have had a tiger oscar for about two months now in my 90 gallon tank.Last sunday i bought another albino tiger oscar to put in as well.I moved all the decorations around and shut the lights off and then added the new guy.Well my old oscar has been chasing the new one around since. Now he is not doing any damage physically to the new one other than the stress of being chased but do you think this will go on forever or will the new one eventually get comfortable and start standing his own ground?Im gonna get a 125 gallon tank at end of month for them too.Thanks.

When I had two Os together the larger one established dominance and the other would just cower all the time. The larger one got all the food and outpaced the others growth. They werent very violent long term but it wasnt good for the small one.

How big are your O's? I know adult O's will have a harder time living with each other if they are didnt grow up together. My brother had an O that he grew out, got a 125 and tried to introduce another adult and it didnt work out. However the 2 oscars I have were raised together from being 1 1/2 " and they get along like peas in a pod.

It's easier to have 3 other than 2. By having 2, the dominant one will just pick on the other a lot of the time. But 3's gonna be cramped in a 90..

I am having the same problem at the moment with O's. I have two Tigers and one Albino. My Albino is bigger than the other two and has been beating on them.

It seems to go in stages - some days he'll leave them alone, then he'll go through a phase of being a real bruiser.

Its to the point now where I am thinking of actually giving him away for the safety of the other fish.

You may try adding a dither a Pair of cons "that are somewhat larger" might do ok in with your O's Firemouths may be a bit better.

seperate them with a plastic tank divider so the otherone gets some food and settles in after a week remove the divider i doubt the bigger one will even notice or ad some feeder fish when you put new fish in to and agressive tank .this is always a good distraction.

add an eggcrate divider to allow proper acclimation if possible, and then hope for the best, since in that size tank the dominant fish will still try to assert itself. I would not use feeder fish at all like the above poster said though, it is a bad idea for health reasons, and you don't want your fish to get picky about feeder fish

dont even try cons cuz theyl just be killed or even feeder fish it all comes down to the idea that your other oscar was there first so the tank is his property, if you want to keep them both put a divider simple as that
