Im not gonna lie thats totally Bad Ass! I mean im glad it wasnt me but I feel like if you put your hand in a piranha tank you kinda get what you ask for. thats why you use dividers. My RD would get me damn near every water change until I started traping him to one side. Totally not worth going to go get stitches or worse.
 
When I saw the title of this thread .....I thought it was gonna be one of bigglesworth's stories. Glad to see this one is legit!

Anytime i put my hand in the tank my red belly piranha would scurry away and hide. I have only ever been nipped at by fish guarding eggs

My Oscar will bite anything that invades his personal space! He always tries to grab my hand when i'm cleaning the tank. Not a very laid back dude that one..
