I had a breeding pair and lost the female, now my male has been courting the other female that is in the tank; she's dropped one set of eggs but no success yet (community setting).
I didn't have a clue that the 3rd O was a female until she dropped her first batch of eggs. LOL

only two people with a breeding pair of oscars thats questionable surely there are more out there
I have a pair but too early to tell sex yet. How old/what size were yours when they started to breed
they were both 11-12'' both were rescued they were in with another one oscar in my tank and almost did it in so i removed him and 2 weeks later bam eggs
I have a red and long fin tiger that just started breeding. First spawn the plecos snacked on. Still waiting on #2. It been a couple weeks so something should happen soon.

About 18 months and 11-12 inches. I think as long as they are about 18 months they are mature enough. Size I don't think matters much.
