Thats wahat my wife said too, I have just read that there can be some aggression during the time before breeding such as lip locking and chasing, but last night it just got to bad and the red was getting hurt, so I had to stop it. I just don't know if this was a temperary spat, of if they are just no longer going to get along.

yea I had the same issues. At times they coudlnt leave each others sides, then other times the male wanted to kill my female. He would chase her down all over my 180 gallon, Wasnt much I could do about it either.

I just hope mine will get over it, I tried removing the aggressor (albino) for a day and a half or so, I just reintroduced it this afternoon. They went right back at lip locking, nipping at each others sides and chasing around the tank. They are both a little beat up right now, but I am just going to wait it out and see if they stop here soon.
