welll they got eaten they lasted like 1.5 days but ultimately got eaten I dont think they were fertile though sadly

On one hand, that's a bummer...

On the other hand, "successful" or not, simply witnessing the process and behavior is awesome. The video of them circling is just great!

Toby_H ya I guess thats a good way to look at it. im always just watching them I find their interactions amazing. if I told that to any non fish nerd they would just call me a weirdo lol

well hopefully next batch will turn out they have been laying eggs every 1-2 weeks which I find odd but im not complaining

My Oscars!

So I realized I have mentioned them several times but never really showed them. this is my pair of oscars a 8" Lutino oscar (female) 10" tiger oscar (male) they have spawned sever times but i have never got viable fry. They are in a 125g.

ok so they just spawned for the like 4-5th time and it looks to me like the male is fertilizing them I will post a vid he is like cupping himself around the eggs and shaking which is what I have seen my other male cichlids do when fertilizing eggs
