Hi guys. I have a 55g with a green terror(2inch), 1firemouth(1.5inch), and a rainbow cichlid. I was wondering if I could keep a 2inch oscar in there temporairly?I was hoping to get a 125g for all of them or just the oscar.

But I was wondering how long he can be in that tank for?

I dont think he could be there for much long, oscars are a hell of fast growers....... Lets say four months they'll do well.... later on youll have to upgrade setup.

What tank would be best for him? Dimensions. I want to give him. Like okay. You know minimum size is 75g? Because it's wider? I thought of a 125g because it's wider AND taller. It'd mean that standing up the fish won't have much problem. You know? If the fish grows 15inches. The width should be atleast 24inches and height atleast 24-30inches. Length I was thinking of 4ft. If that's an okay length.

If you get one tank of 50 x 24 x 24 he'll be just fine , that 'll be about 120 US gal although as minimun for one sigle adult oscar a 90 gal tank would do.

Will that be perfect for him/her? I wanted to leave extra room cause I have a gt, and a fire mouth and a rainbow cichlid and I'd like to house em together someday. Sooo.. I wanted to give them the extra room.

Sorry I corrected the last post in regards tank size take a look again.

For all those fish is you get at minimun a 114-125 would do well if, maybe it aint the optimal but I think you could get away with it.
