Yeah they are probs tigers, but not much red so they do look a lot like wild caughts. Also sometimes an lfs will say something is rare just to sell it quickly and for a higher price. Also a tidbit of info i find interesting is that oscars that are labeled 'albino tigers', or 'albino reds' are 99.99% of the time just luetistic. It is extremely rare to find a true albino oscar.
 
I've see them small like this with no red. Markings are almost snakelike and more beige or light tan in color. I can't say for certain whether they are WC or CB but usually when they have markings like this the local LFS has them listed as wild caught "Tiger Oscars". Have never seen one with these colors as an adult though.

yes but not till month 6 or so will you know what you have, the only thing that does not change is the tail eye.
 
Hey pops...so by six months they will get the red coloration? What do u mean you will know what you have...is that referring to the patterns? Thanks
