Wow .. they are great looking duo.. their skin is so intact without any marks is what I am wondering about.. what is your secret in keeping oscars mate ? I have a 250g in which i have a pair of albino red of about 6".. both will be busy knocking each other down lol

I dont do anything really special. I had to take them both out and rearange the tank twice, and put them back in at the same time so no one has claim to anything yet. I also feed them many small feedings thru out the day. Now you may have two males so they are more than likely fighting for territory in the tank and or dominance of the tank. You can tell if they are males or not by checking the fins. Males dorsal and anal fin will overlap their cadual fin some, where the females wont.

As you can see here, dorsal and anal come up to the cadual but dont overlap.

And here you can see that the dorsal and anal overlap the cadual. So that may be a bit of my success is that they are male and female, not a pair of males, or females.
Do you have dithers in your tank, they really help to give the Oscars something else to chase around and spread around the aggression.
I dont feed anything special. Hikari gold pellets, as main food. They also steal food from the pleco, algea disc, peas, green beans, and bottom feeder pellets ment for catfish. They get the occasional treats of frozen blood worms, live meal worms and crickets.
