Hi,
I have bought two Oscar same size...I kept for almost 4months+ till now..They have been together and didn't fought..One of em is tiger Oscar and another is albino oscar..They have been nice to each other since first day..Both of em different gender..Today the tiger Oscar started to open mouth and reach near the other Oscar..I thought they were lip locking at first , I'm not really sure because I saw it from far away..So I thought it was actually sign for breeding but the tiger Oscar started to chase and bite the albino oscar..the tiger Oscar was the one biting the other one..The fish scale right now in bad , teared a bit a bit.I close the lights the tiger Oscar stop attacking...Idk what the problem , I would be happy if I could get help for this problem....tq

That tank, iss
That tank may only be big enough for 1 oscar (and maybe not even big enough for 1 as a full grown adult).
Them fighting, is their way of telling you the tank has only enough territory, and is too small for more than one.
I consider tanks of 6 ft/and over 150 gallons to be large enough for more than 1.

I agree, Because I have 2 oscars of 3 inches ( I think ) and I have kept them in a 250 gallon tank. And they are pretty good.

Is your 4 foot tank 55g, 75g, or 90g? In any event, a 6 foot 150g tank would be the minimum size for 2 adult Oscar’s. Sorry, but you owe it to your Oscar’s to immediately rehome one of them.

I raised 4 oscars. 2 red and 2 tiger. I found that oscars have wildly different personalities. I had a red that seemed to invite fighting from the other oscars. Even though this red was not overtly aggressive.
As all the oscars grew up the reds had to be separated from the tigers.
The tigers were paired up but the reds would fight more and more. This same red seemed to invite this in some way. I had to remove this red oscar.
These 2 reds were in a 230+ gallon tank.
My take on my experience is that Oscars can pair or coexist but there are a lot of variables that can cause fighting or domination. I'm sure tank size can help but I don't know that it is the resolution. Unless the tank is HUGE.
I agree that you will need to remove one of the oscars.
BTW one of my tiger oscars passed. Very sorry full as they were a wonderful pair. I have not tried to get another oscar to go with the tiger because the chances of them coexisting is very low. I think the best way to pair oscars is to raise them and see what happens. The downside is that ultimately you will need to remove some.
Again, this is just my experience.

I have seen that my 2 oscars Albino and tiger used to fight a lot even though I have 250 gallon tank. The tiger got a lot of hurt but the trick I used is rearranging my tank. You see I got the tiger after I got the albino and oscars are highly territorial and forget their borders when u rearrange your tank. BTW- what is your tank size.

I agree with the above posts that suggest you remove one of the Oscars as the tank is too small. I would not keep even one full grown Oscar in a 4ft tank. I started my current 180gal 6ft Oscar tank with six 2" Oscars. As they've been growing I've been removing them one at a time. I currently have two 10" fish (one Tiger and one Red Oscar), who do minor (gentle) lip locks occasionally but there is no fighting. I will just need to wait to see if they make it together as they get bigger. No way to really know for sure right now. If they wind up to be a pair then the chances are much better they can coexist in future in that tank.

Hey ken31cay, If your Oscar's are doing occasional lip lock (even gentle) you might want to keep a lookout between them and check each one for any injuries as
they might be fighting for territory.
